At Ski Activity we have over 26 years' experience providing winter holidays. With chalets, hotels, self-catering appartments and luxury residences in over 46 resorts throughout Europe, the USA and Canada we hope to be able to provide you with your perfect holiday experience.

Each of our chalets has their own individual qualities. Take your pick from ski in/ski out, log fires, balconies, fantastic views, saunas, jacuzzi's and en suite rooms.

Chalets, Hotels and Luxury Residences

Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us. Relax in the atmosphere of a traditional alpine home and allow your staff to pamper you throughout your stay.

 Catered chalets

Never before has there been such a wide choice of alpine homes to choose from. Ski Activity operates chalets in Verbier, Les Gets, Morzine, Meribel, La Tania, Les Carroz & St Martin de Belleville. We have introduced new catered chalets in the resorts of Les Gets and Les Carroz and for the first time feature a wide range of chalets that can be booked on an individual basis.

 Hotels

We have again expanded the number of hotels we offer and have featured quite a number within this brochure. Take time to explore the full range as featured on our website and don’t hesitate to ask if there is a particular property you would like to book.

 Luxury Residences & Chalets

In response to increasing demand for this type of property we have introduced a number of prestige residences where an extra level of comfort can be enjoyed. Spacious flats and chalets are offered usually with free access to pool and spa facilities. Linen and towels are usually included with beds made on arrival.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Why not this year enjoy the festive season in the perfect surroundings of the Swiss or French Alps. Roaring log fires, Christmas trees, crackers, fairy lights and celebration dinners will all be included in your stay. Fine wines will be served on Christmas day and Hogmanay for your extra special enjoyment.

Chalet Service

During your stay in one of our catered chalets, we will provide you with the following;

 Breakfast

We pride ourselves in our breakfasts and hope that you agree with us that a good hearty breakfast when you are burning all those calories is the best way to start the day. Cereals, porridge, fruit juices, yoghurts, local breads, pastries and a choice of preserves will all be served together with tea or coffee. A cooked breakfast option is always on offer and could be fresh apple pancakes and maple syrup or bacon and French toast.

 Afternoon Tea

It is traditional to have afternoon tea in all of our chalets on your return from the slopes. This is self service and usually there is no member of staff in attendance. Some fresh bread, butter and preserves are on hand and a delicious slice or two of home made cake or perhaps some fresh scones.

 Kids’ supper

Particularly during holiday times when children are staying in our chalets we offer either a kids’ high tea or a family meal at a pre-arranged earlier time.

 Dinner

Prior to dinner we will serve you an aperitif and a canapé or two to whet your appetite followed by a delicious 4 course evening meal with a vegetarian choice if requested. The menus are varied and interesting and of the highest possible standard without being overly fussy. Good quality regional French wine is offered during supper much of which is sourced directly from the growers.

Our Staff

We know that it is the staff that can make your holiday for you so we insist on a rigorous selection and training process. It is attention to detail that counts and having staff that are happy to go the extra mile to ensure that nothing is overlooked.

From your initial phone call or email to our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff in the UK to the welcome you receive at the airport and in your chalet, you can be assured that our 26 years of experience will make a difference.

 Resort reps

Our resort representatives will meet you on arrival at the airport and have you on your way to resort as quickly as possible. During your coach journey, lift passes, ski hire and lessons can all be arranged saving valuable time on arrival, or why not book in advance with sales staff. A full report on the weather, piste conditions, in-resort activities and après ski will also be covered on your journey to the resort. Regular visits to your chalet by the rep during your stay will ensure that our quality of service is being maintained and that you are up to date with all resort information.

 Ski leading

A ski-leading service on specified days is also provided by our resort representatives.  They will help guide you around the mountain ensuring you quickly familiarise yourselves with the resort layout. This helps to avoid bottlenecks at busy times of year and shows our guests where to find the best snow. A guide to the very best mountain restaurants is also an invaluable service that they can provide.

 Chalet cooks and hosts.

Our chalet cooks and hosts are carefully chosen for their cheerful personality, culinary skills, genuine love of food and hard working capabilities. All hosts have one day off a week where breakfast will be laid out for you in the morning. For that evening, our reps will assist with the booking of a local restaurant where you can savour the local cuisine.

Food and Wine

When it comes to food and wine, pride and passion are the words that spring to mind when describing this most important element of the catered chalet holiday.

Our dedicated staff spend many long hours refining out winter menus ensuring that we deliver an extremely high standard of cuisine during your stay. A choice of French regional wines are provided during dinner, free of charge, and a selection of finer wines are available on request from our connoisseur range.
