Description

These chalet apartments are at the top of the resort of Val Thorens, offering excellent views across the valley. The decor is typically alpine in style with spacious open living/dining areas, wood-burning stoves and satellite TV. All rooms enjoy the bonus of en suite facilities, most with their own Jacuzzi bath. Hand and bath towels are provided in all the Balcons chalets. Self-drivers please read the Important Information section.

Location

Chalet Abricot is situated in the Balcons 5 building. This position offers excellent access to the skiing, just 25 metres (approx.) from the piste. The Plein Sud lift goes straight past the complex and competent skiers can enjoy the convenience of skiing practically to the door in good conditions. For beginners the shuttle bus stops right outside reception for access to the other lifts. The shops, and lively bars and restaurants of Val Thorens are a short walk away. For guests convenience there are 2 restaurants, a bar offering snacks, a ski hire shop and a mini market within the complex.

Travel

FLIGHT SUPPLEMENTS - Europe. Please call for North American scheduled flights

If you are taking skis or boards, please remember that with ever larger numbers of people taking these on Europena charter flights, they need to be registered in advance. If you do not pre book we cannot guarantee that your equipment will be accepted at the airport. In line with most other major winter sports opertors there is a charge of £15 per board or set of skis. Our airport representatives will charge £18 if not pre-booked assuming their is space on the flight. If your pre-booked equipment is off loaded, we will arrange for them to be forwarded to resort as soon as possible at no extra charge.

In view of the current instability in oil prices a fuel supplement may be added to the price of your flight based holiday at the time of booking. This is currently £12 for European holidays and £60 for North American holidays.
