Description

This is the highest resort in the massive Portes du Soleil and without doubt Avoriaz has some of the best skiing in Europe. Enjoy the wide open pistes, superb snow record, spectacular view and 360 degree skiing with all the pistes fanning out in all directions from this traffic free resort

With 650Km of pistes to explore and 14 different French and Swiss villages you will never tire of this enormous area

There are plentiful blue runs which allow for miles of stylish cruising for the beginner or for resting your legs at the end of a hard days skiing. For those who want to up the stakes there are lots of red and black runs including the infamous Swiss Wall.

Touring from village to village is a highlight for many skiiers and you can cross between France and Switzerland several times a day easily. With most villages having traditional mountain bars and restaurants you will never tire of eating out while skiing in Avoriaz.

With Snowcross runs which are marked and patrolled, but left unpisted and an exciting snow park for Free style skiers everyone is catered for in Avoriaz

 

Apres Ski

The resort centre has a lively apres ski atmosphere with enough bars to offer a choice of styles and moods and lots of choices of restaurants for the chalet hosts night off

The resort runs regular music, sport and family events all season, especially on peak dates and there are always a wide range of none skiing activities to enjoy after a days skiing
