Ski Activity is recruiting now for the 2008/2009 ski season!

We are looking for staff to work as part of the Ski Activity team in the following resorts: Meribel, La Tania, Val Thorens, Les Gets, Morzine, and Verbier.

Resort staff, whether they are dishwasher or resort representative, play an essential part in the welcoming of guests to the resorts, and ensuring that they enjoy their holiday with us. All staff will be seen as representatives of the company and as such must be aware of all the demands that this sort of position has in the service industry. At the end of the day we want all our guests to leave with happy memories of their stay with us and it is up to the team to help fulfill this goal!

Tolerance, good humour, adaptability, the ability to work hard and uncomplainingly are all essential attributes for any resort staff, as is the willingness to lend a hand whenever the need arises. All the staff of any one unit has to work enthusiastically as part of the Ski Activity team, helping each other regardless of the formal limits of each person's job. In return for hard work and commitment an excellent package is on offer.

Training is given at the beginning of the season so that you are well prepared for the 5 months ahead. A sample of one night from last seasons menu plan can be found here. This will give you an idea of the standard of food provided. All guests will also receive a full buffet breakfast in the morning with a cooked option. Home baked cakes or biscuits are set up for afternoon tea and there are delicious canapes served before dinner. We also offer a cheeseboard in all our Ski Activity chalets after dessert.

We recommend the intensive 4 week courses at the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine that will help prepare you for running a chalet in the Alps.
